CLOVERBUD SCHEDULE SPRING, 2008
2:15 -4:00 Clinic 4:00-4:45 Meeting
March 1 & 15 Parts of the bridle & saddle & tacking Every good rider needs to know what the equipment they need is called & how to take care of it. Once it’s ready, we’ll practice putting it on to make sure that it fits.
April 5 & 26 What does your horse eat?? This will be a “hands on” experience learning about what it takes to feed a horse. Clinic participants will learn about the different types of feed it takes & will get to feed the horses their afternoon meal!!!
May 10 & 31 Own your own pony for the day Show us what you know. This is the culmination of what we have done in the previous months. Clinic participants will groom, tack & feed their horse for the day. Certificates will be issued to everyone to show how many hours of basic horse care that they have achieved in the preceding months. We will also have a crafty surprise!!
Meetings will be held at the conclusion of each clinic. This will be the time to join the Cloverbuds or the time will be spent for current members to work on their project books. Parents are welcome at any of the meetings. Please call or email the office if you would like to attend.
