Boarding/Training at Country Acres
Country Acres offers top-class training, instruction, and showing for hunters, jumpers and dressage horses. Boarders are involved in continuing education for horse and rider with access to lessons, clinics, clubs and showing, as well as riding the trails on and around our beautiful farm. Country Acres is a state of the art full service boarding facility. It includes a covered riding arena and is situated on the highest knoll of the property, oriented to catch the prevailing breeze. The boarder facility in addition to first class boarding is a venue for regional horse shows and offers a complete schooling program. Country Acres is dedicated to quality boarding services, instruction and training so you and your horse may reach your full potential. Country Acres is a professionally operated horse boarding facility.
We offer several board packages so that you may choose the one that best suits your horse’s needs.
Boarding Options: Total Care Full Training Board at Country Acres: Total Care Half Training Board at Country Acres: Basic Board at MacNair’s Riding School Barn We have a limited number of stalls at this barn available for those on the waiting list for boarding at Country Acres. Special Services Boarders may wish to customize board for their horse. Pasture Board We also offer a limited number of spaces to adults interested in pasture board.
Thom Pollard is the Director of Country Acres. Thom is a USEF "R" judge and has a proven record of success managing facilities and training horses, as well as coaching, judging and showing at USEF “AA” shows. He is assisted by Jennifer Stout, Lisa Pollard and Dena Cameron, Barn Manager. Experienced staff is on the grounds 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Country Acres Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 919-851-1171 countryacres@macnairscountryacres.com Hours may vary based on seasonal changes, weather conditions, and/or holiday schedules, which will be posted in the barn. Boarders will be notified of unusual hours or special events via email. Unless riding in a scheduled lesson or under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, children under the age of 16 are not allowed on the farm from noon to 3:00 p.m. or on Saturday and Sunday. staff photos rider requirements contact us
