On-Site Horse Leases at MacNair’s Country Acres in Raleigh, NC
Lease Program information
MacNair’s Country Acres is invested in helping riders find appropriate horses to suit their riding and horse showing goals.
We offer onsite leases to intermediate and advanced riders who have been enrolled in our lesson program. Riders must be riding at our ‘Top Barn’ in order to qualify for our lease program. We will consider leasing to riders who have not previously ridden in our lesson program on a case by case basis.
We offer both full and half lease options, with 6 month and annual terms available.
Lessees must commit to taking two lessons per week with our Head Trainer. This requirement must be met whether you are in a full or half lease. Our lease program caters to riders interested in showing, and we require that lease horses compete in a minimum of four rated shows per year.
If we do not have a lease horse available that matches a rider’s size or riding goals, our Trainers will work to find a suitable lease horse to bring to our farm for the rider.
